[Today Matt is annoyed. He opened a bag of sour skittles and found they tasted like corn. It was bad enough the book he was reading randomly decided to translate to Swahili. Now his favorite food ever decided to betray him as well. ;A;

You'll find him in the bazaar, scouting out a new bag. Cause he can't live without his skittles.]

Matt tears the bag of skittles he was opening and a few hit the floor. Zee you have really got to stop doing that.]

[She blinks her head and then eyes the skittles that drop, then flicks her gaze back up to him.]

What are you trying to accomplish?

I'm looking for a new bag of skittles. The other one I had tasted like corn.

[He gets a baffled look, and then a hesitation.]

I am built to resemble one, if that is your question.

[He offers her the bag. He doesn't know if you have taste receptors or whatever, but you're welcome to try one.]

[She reaches to take one, giving it a sniff.]

This is unhealthy. It is full of sugar and carbohydrates.

...And Zee is probably the worst person to ask this to.]

I have never been given a gift, however I am uncertain as to anything that I could possibly need. I require very little to function.

[Have a sheepish laugh.]

Yeah I know. But we were never allowed to have them at home and I like them. I don't eat them a lot.

[Because he usually polishes off half or whole bags at a time.

He sighs.]

Really? Hm. It doesn't matter I guess.

[Matt looks away, a little embarrassed. Zee's his friend. He could trust her.]

It's for a girl. That I like.

[He really just wants an excuse to go see her. But he wants her to actually like the gift. FFFF WHY IS THIS SO COMPLICATED?]

[Zee's eyes flick from him to the area around him. A gift. He wanted to get a gift for someone he cared about. There's a brief conflict of emotion that runs through her processor and it echos across her face a moment before her expression smooths into it's usual placid mask.]

Not really. It was kind of a spur of the moment decision.

Hm. I do not classify as human and therefore have little input as to what would be an appropriate gift for an organic female.
