[Jael really can't stop herself from staring. Seeing Matt as a Kóri is bringing up all sorts of emotions she can't quite name, but she can't stop grinning either way.
So after a while, she gives in and reaches out to touch one of his ears.]
[Her smile is contagious and he smiles too. But shudders a bit when she touches his ears. Not that it's a bad thing. Kóri ears are just much more sensitive than his human ears.]
[Jael's smile turns sly at Matt's reaction. She had expected that, but it was still amusing. She strokes her finger down his ear before pulling her hand away to answer.]
[He takes her hand and uses it to pull her in close. This is kind of amazing. His hearing is amplified and the things he can hear are just blowing his mind.]
[Jael wraps an arm around Matt's waist, grinning up at him. She's highly amused at Matt's fascination with his enhanced senses. The last thing she had expected was for him to end up as a Kóri, and his reaction was exactly what she had thought it would be.
But that would probably change once they were outside and in an area with a lot more noise. She pulls on him a little and gestures with her head to the door.]
