[She wasn't herself. Matt just has to remember that.]

Even so, I still want to make it up to you if I can.

I just...I can't ignore that I could ever act like that towards you, even with the Keep influencing me.

You don't have to. As long as you're okay, then so am I.

[Guess who's coming in the door, Matt. Jael looks miserable but she can't avoid their rooms forever.]

[Matt is sitting on the edge of the bed, journal in hand. He's about to say something back, but Jael is coming in. He sets the book aside and gets up.

This is awkward. I don't think they've ever fought before. Does this even count as a fight?]

Hey. I was just about to ask you to stop by.

[Jael nods and sets her stuff aside, hesitantly stepping close to wrap her arms around his waist and bury her face in his chest.]

[Matt pauses, before wrapping his arms around her and resting his cheek on her hair. He's missed her so much.]

I'm sorry for snapping at you.

[Jael shakes her head and tightens her grip.

She hadn't realized how much she had missed him. And despite how bad she feels, she relaxes for the first time since the incident.]

Let's just forget about this. It's done and I forgive you a million times.

[He kisses the top of her hair before stepping back.]

But I do have to know, Jael, ....did you really think. I mean do you really think we spend too much time together?

[They were practically living together and did things together all the time. ~~Might as well be married~~.]

[Jael nods and detaches herself from Matt.

She shakes her head hard at his question, picking up her paper to reply.]

Of course not. I love you, and I love being with you.

[He looks relieved and he smiles. That was what worried him the most. He takes her hand and gives it a squeeze.]

I love you too.

[Jael smiles and tugs him forward, leaning up to kiss him.]

[Oh this is perfect. He wraps his arms around her waist and returns her kiss.]

[Jael wraps her arms around his shoulders and deepens the kiss.

Yep, she really did miss Matt. She's never avoiding him again.]

Oh bb. He's missed you so much, never avoiding him again would be just perfect. He steps back after a moment, hand brushing her cheek.]

Let's go do something.

[Jael smiles slightly and nods, leaning into his touch. She looks up, a curious look on her face, wondering if he has anything in particular in mind.]

Normal as you can get around here.

I can deal with this normal.

Yeah, I'm getting there. Not sure if that's good or bad really.

It's not so bad once you get used to it.

[especially if the world you came from wasn't the greatest.]

The thing is, I'm not sure if I want to.

May not have a choice.

Then hopefully they'll get everything fixed soon. I like the people here but other people kind of need me.
